This week Ms. Anis brief us for Project 2. So, we gonna creating a minimalist poster with decisive moment based on the story.. We can find the decisive moment in the movie scene, particular video game, or a memorable chapter from a book, We required to capture a important moment and traslate it to minimalist poster.

Notes for Project 2:

A pivotal moment in a widely known movie/animation/book/game etc
Capture the unique, meaningful moment that time, involving movement and action
Translating the scene with a minimalist style approach
Create a sophisticated background to the subject that interacts both visually and psychologically
Research on the narrative chosen
Think of how to make the characters or other iconic objects simplified and can be recognize
Identify the main theme colours of the movie/ story

Chosen Narrative : Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump is an The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump, a slow-witted and kindhearted man from Alabama who witnesses and unwittingly influences several defining historical events in the 20th century United States. The film differs substantially from the novel by Winston Groom.

First of all i'm very confused what scene should i chose beacause, there are so many iconic scene in this movie. But, i chose this one. This one is the first time forrest try to run and first time forrest realize how he like to run. So, i try to capture this to an animation.

Process

So i try to make the silhouette of running Forrest Gump and i make 108 frame (let's go me) honestl its very tiring haha.
